I am jealous of the kids today and the opportunities they have compared to when I was in film school. My career would have gone in a different direction, but first we needed to build the tools.
So we did.
We were central to creating a new form of communication, rolling it out to the world and, crucially, making it actually work. I was surprised during a recent industry event in LA when a person of youth recognized my name and knew who I was even though they didn’t recognize me. That’s the kind of success I was looking for.

I swim, hike, dine with friends, fund media creation startups and travel to fascinating places. Instead of being jet lagged in a fluorescent lit meeting room squinting at charts, I am taking photos and traveling light. My last big trip was 30 days in Asia with only carry on and my beautiful wife. I’m planning my next trip now.
Please take a moment to check out a country or two on this site. You won’t find pictures of the Eiffel Tower or the Golden Gate Bridge, but you might get a little lost on purpose.
