30 Days in France
Le Ménage à Trois
Third time’s a charm.
This year we wanted to be even more ambitious, but still spend longer in each location. This was mostly successful. We started with 2 weeks in Paris to dine with friends and check out the expos. And to walk. A lot. After another year studying la langue of both Asterix AND Obelisk, we had some marvelous interactions with the locals. I found myself becoming fluid and conversational if maybe a bit annoying for trying to talk to everyone in the whole city.
Then most of a week in Bordeaux, castle tours in Carcassonne, wandering ancient streets in Arles, visiting with flamingos and gypsies and a final return to Paris for shopping and the flight home.

And off to the countryside: Bordeaux
